The licensee's revenue stream is derived from local advertisement, sponsorships, free agent camps, merchandising, media rights, etc. We provide state-of the-art media kits and support material along with on going training and technical support. Does the WBA provide its licensees with a protected territory?
Absolutely. The WBA provides each team owner with protected city and/or area boundaries in which other WBA locations may not be developed.
Are licensees required to have a sports background or experience?
No. The WBA helps walk you through a great deal of the initial set up process. You will have to negotiate your arena lease, develop a working relationship with your local city, vendors and advertisers. Our corporate office will handle national sponsorship opportunities; events, promotions as well as help you develop relationships with advertisers and government officials within your city. We will train you in every aspect of running the business. Some of the topics of training include:
Sales Training, Sales Staff Recruiting, Management Training, Advertising, Sponsorship, Office Systems, and Hiring Coaches.
What type of support can I expect as a new licensee with the WBA?
By licensing with the WBA, you will have access to a proven method and systems of operation along with the WBA's national brand name recognition. Do you provide any type of training?
Yes! We provide a three-day intensive classroom training for the owner/operator, two days for the owners and one-day that includes the sales representative(s).
